Tadoussac is a must for whale watching. Located at the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord, the whales find abundant food to build up their fat reserves for the winter thanks to the presence of three underwater currents that favor the development of plankton and all sorts of small crustaceans and fish.
An encounter with the whales of the St. Lawrence is an unforgettable experience. The river offers an ideal terrain for observations, both from the shore and on the water. “We protect what we love, we love what we know”: an excursion to the whales can sensitize people and lead them to act for their conservation. The Whale Route transports you to a land of excess where space, rivers, forests and even the hearts of the inhabitants are larger than life.
The whale watching cruise at Tadoussac was made on September 13, 2017.
