As in Orlando, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood offers total immersion. We enter the snow-covered village of Hogsmeade, where the Hogwarts Express has just arrived. Opposite the station store is The Three Broomsticks, the famous tavern where wizards come to eat and enjoy a glass of Butterbeer, a drink you can also find outside, near large oak casks. A gourmet break at Honeydukes is a must, if only to contemplate the myriad of colorfully-wrapped sweets that cover the store’s walls and displays. Chocolate Frogs, Pumpkin Pasties, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans will make a welcome gift.
One store follows another: Zonko’s Trick-or-Treat, the Post Office and all its stationery, Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions, and finally Ollivander, where a beautiful animation shows how the wand chooses its wizard. Just outside Hogsmeade stands the majestic Hogwarts Castle, home to the most unique of attractions: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Take a seat and let yourself be whisked away at breakneck speed to every corner of Hogwarts, from the most iconic to the most frightening. An unforgettable adventure! And don’t miss the Flight of the Hippogriff train, a child-friendly roller coaster that still delivers some thrills.
Although exceptional, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is only one part of the Universal Studios park, find all the other attractions.
