Sitges is a seaside town on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. It is renowned for its lively nightlife, magnificent beaches and rich cultural heritage. The Sitges esplanade is an ideal place for strolling or cycling. It offers breathtaking views of the sea and beaches, including the 1.5 km-long San Sebastián beach. Don’t miss the Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla church, a 14th-century Gothic church and Sitges’ main religious monument, adjacent to the beaches.
The town has a long history dating back to Roman times. It was an important commercial and maritime center in the Middle Ages and has attracted many artists and intellectuals over the centuries. Sitges is also a popular destination for the LGBTQ+ community, the town being known for its tolerance and inclusion. At the restaurant, enjoy local dishes typical of Sitges cuisine, which is largely influenced by Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine: rice is a must, especially black rice with squid.
