For Norwegians, ice skating is an everyday activity, but for visitors it can be a truly extraordinary experience. The Spikersuppa rink is located right in the center of Oslo, opposite the National Theater and Karl Johans gate shopping street. Bring your own skates or rent a pair for NOK 120 per day, the rink is open from December to March.
Near the ice rink, you’ll find a magnificent Christmas market, where you can buy gifts and Christmas decorations and sample Norwegian specialities. And there’s nothing like a stroll with a glass of mulled wine to keep the Norwegian winter chill at bay!
