Nicknamed “The City Beautiful”, Coral Gables is a haven of peace nestled south of Miami, Florida. Founded in the 1920s by visionary George Merrick, it boasts refined neo-Mediterranean architecture, wide tree-lined avenues and a resolutely European ambience.

To stroll the streets of Coral Gables is to travel through time and continents. Mediterranean, Spanish and Italian influences are gracefully displayed on the facades of houses and public buildings. In addition to its remarkable architecture, Coral Gables is also an attractive place to live. Green avenues, flower-filled parks and shady squares invite you to stroll and relax. It’s also a bustling cultural and academic center, and home to the University of Miami, one of the most prestigious in the United States. The city is also home to numerous museums, theaters and art galleries, offering a rich and varied program all year round.
