
A popular seaside resort located 20 km south of Barcelona, Castelldefels boasts a long sandy beach facing the Mediterranean Sea. The town also offers a variety of cultural and sporting activities, including museums, theaters, concert halls, golf courses and tennis courts. Castelldefels has a rich history, dating back to Roman times. The Castelldefels castle was built in the 11th century and restored in the 20th century, offering breathtaking views of the town and the sea. Not far away, in the hills above Castelldefels, lies the Garraf Natural Park, a protected area of hills, forests and wild beaches.
